Worldwide, 1.3 billion people are without access to electricity.

WE'RE HERE TO CHANGE THAT.

Members of Elemental Energy devote considerable amount of their personal time to the advancement of renewable energy technology worldwide. These efforts are focused on providing access to energy and clean water in the developing nations of Africa and Central America. Elemental Energy works closely with Green Empowerment and played an integral part in the founding of SOLAR-HOPE.

We have greatly appreciated sharing our experience and expertise in implementing renewable energy technologies within developing regions. In 2015, members of Elemental Energy helped to both inspire and found the non-profit organization Twende Solar, with the goal of continuing to help all people secure energy independence while protecting and preserving the environment.

Our vision is simple: a world with sustainable energy for all.

“Twende” meaning, “let’s go” in Swahili, aims to bridge the gap between renewable energy experts and energy-poor communities. In 2016, we traveled to Guatemala and Cambodia to design and install solar energy systems on two schools—empowering communities with the resources they need to live, work, and learn in safe and productive environments.
